Too a trip to Old Hildalgo and these are most of the buildings left for visitors to see. #3 is the Post Office which is marked as a historic building. Yet is it pretty much left to the elements and the brickwork is wearing away at a fairly fast pace. #4 is a jail which we are not 100% sure if it is in use, as the building to the right is a County Courthose. Looking closely at the jail, to us it does not seem capable of holding anyone in!

Only in the valley would people take the time to put up Xmas lights on old buildings. This must look very pretty at night.
