This flower comes from a plant nicknamed Moon Flower. It opens up in the evening and goes from closed to open in a matter of about an hour once it starts. It stays open all night and then dies once the sun hits it in the morning. It is wonderful to watch it progress. This was taken in my brother's back yard while he BBQ'd perch for us :-) What a wonderfull way to spend a day!
