Edinburg Scenic Wetlands - Early Morning

 These were taken at Edinburg Wetlands, TX.  It was quite early and cloudy so not a lot of light to work with.  If you wait until the sun starts to come up through the trees most of the birds are gone to other feeding grounds. 
 This Snowy Egret "Mr. Charmer" was all in a tither and showing off his mating coat.  He would run around and chase off his opponent...

 This was his opponent who acted very innocent but would fly down and harass Mr. Charmer every once in a while.

Even if you ties a fish for each bird on that branch, you could not have gotten them to sit for this first photo, timing is everything.
