Paint with Light

Ruth Blackmon and I decided it was time to practice painting with light.  We set up in her side yard and took turns painting and taking pictures.  You have to keep the light source moving and the lit part of the flashlight pointed away from the camera so that no streaks of light hit the lens.  You also can't shine the light very long on any part of the subject or it will blow the detail out.  It was a great learning exercise.

I decided to try zooming in and out while taking the long exposures.
