I already see things in a different light and look forward to learning how to capture nature and my surroundings at their best and just enjoy this new hobby to the fullest. UPDATE: I HAVE NOW BEEN WITH THIS CLUB FOR 5+ YEARS AND HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THE MEMBERS AND PRACTICING. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR HELPING ME MOVE FORWARD WITH YOUR POSITIVE ENCOURAGEMENT. LIFE IS GOOD!

This is a picture of my son's dog which he took with my old Sony
digital camera. We are talking old... camera!
But that camera is still working and obviously takes pretty good pictures and Jeremy
captured a very interesting pose. It makes you really wonder what he is looking at and what he is thinking! Mojo is an Argentine Dogo and has proven to be a wonderful family member.

This is just a fun picture I took this morning while bird watching with my mother. We were delighted to find this flock of about 1,000 Snow Buntings. We watched them for a while and I decided to try to take a picture but they were just too far away for my camera. So, not to be out smarted by a bird; I decided to try to take a picture through the binoculars. I had heard that people use regular scopes to take pictures. And besides the club members always say...never pass up an opportunity! Well this was the result and it amused me to no end. Hey...small things amuse small ..... :-)
